Girls who smoke.

I’ll admit that I am a bit hypocritical when it comes to this topic. I complain about smoking a lot in general and the more anti-smoking bylaws that there are, the better. However, the only serious (or even “sort of” serious) relationships that I have ever had - were with females who smoke. Now, there aren’t even enough of these females to say that maybe I attract smoking females, I know that it is likely a coincidence. A coincidence made possible by the scary fact that a lot of females smoke. Just in my observations I’d say more females than males.

All of this is brought on by the fact that I am doing my laundry - as I type I have a load in the dryer - and when I walked into the laundry room to move my recently washed clothes into the dryer I met a girl from the building leaving the laundry room. She had just removed her clothes from the dryer and I doubt that she had been in there very long. I walk into the room and I will tell you most bars don’t smell that smoky. It was like she had lit up right there. Her clothing reeked of smoke so badly that they left a “scent signature” that lasted at least the whole time I was in there. Nothing says loving like the sweet, sweet aroma of toxic chemicals. Anyway… it just bothers me. Not like, “Oh god, Colin doesn’t think smoking is attractive!” is much of an incentive to quit, but I need to release. :P
