Today was WWDC 2003 and there are definitely some exciting things taking place.

Some of the things that I noticed that were exciting are:

Xcode - development environment which can be set up to do distributed builds on the Internet and has predictive compiling which actually compiles part of your code while you are editing it so that the final build takes less time.

Apparently when switching between users on OSX it used to take longer than Windows, but not any longer. I don’t switch between users on my laptop so I have no idea. Now, user switching rotates the full desktop mapped on a cube. How cool is that.

Obviously there was much excitement about the G5 - the most powerful personal computer. But you should check out the keynote breakdown yourself at MacRumors and check out the pure sexiness of the G5 at the Apple website
